2025 INFORMATION NOTICE

$50 JUNIOR EARLY REGISTRATION DEPOSITS NOW OPEN!

 

Right, we're putting our best boot forward and not waiting around for Rugby Australia to reset the Rugby Xplorer system! We still need to wait for RX to formally register players, however, we want to get an idea of numbers in 2025 as soon as possible. Therefore, we're making the following offer:

 

WHAT?!

Send us a $50 (per player) deposit and lock in your child's spot next season!

 

WHY?!

We'll make your registration costs cheaper! Once RA releases their costs and we determine full registration fees. As a thank you, we will apply a 25% discount to the full registration cost for getting on board with us early.

Also, by registering your interest, we start to get a better idea of junior team numbers and can focus on promoting pre-season recruitment on those age groups.

 

WHEN?!

We will accept $50 deposits until January 7th, 2025. That gives you 60 days to jump on board this great offer!

 

HOW?!

Very simply! But please read below carefully:

 

1. Send $50.00 via bank transfer to:

2. EMAIL us at razorbacks1981@gmail.com with the following:
- Your payment confirmation
- Your contact number
- Player(s) name(s)
- Date(s) of Birth / Age next year
- Intended team age group (if looking to play up or down/different to own age)

 

That's all there is to it for now!!

 

WHAT NEXT?!

We will keep a database of all deposits received. Once RA opens up full registrations and prices are set, we will work out what the outstanding balances are (less 25% discount and $50.00 already paid). We will then contact everyone and request they bank transfer their outstanding amounts.

When final payments have been received, we will send out a personalised code to everyone which will enable free registration in the Rugby Xplorer system. Your child will be registered with the Razorbacks in 2025!

 

What are the risks?

Deposits are non-refundable to the extent of a change of mind. We will not refund where a child decides to play another sport or for a different team. HOWEVER, if we are not able to form a full side for their age group and they cannot play with us through no fault of their own, we will definitely refund those deposits.

For administration, it is very important that you send us an email so that we can match your deposit with your details, and ensure you receive your discount in future.

Juniors

Juniors registration is inclusive of playing shorts and socks, and a club training shirt. 

*For family registering more than 1 child, a family discount is applicable.

Seniors

• 12's Women’s: Free registration (no club gear is included)

• XV Men's: To be confirmed once we can

Men's seniors registration is inclusive of playing shorts and socks, and a training shirt. Additional packages can be purchased as part of your registration for the following additional costs:

Active Kids Rebate

Rugby is a registered sport under the Active Kids Rebate program.

 

Parents, guardians and carers can apply for a voucher valued up to $50 per calendar year for each student enrolled in school. School can include those enrolled from Kindergarten to Year 12, and includes under 18s who are enrolled in secondary school education at TAFE NSW. More information and application for the voucher can be obtained via the Service NSW website.

 

What do fees cover?

 

Your fees cover the above noted gear, player insurance and the ARU Levy, the Central Coast Rugby Union Levy, the NSW Country Rugby Levy and Referee Fees.

 

Who must register?

 

To participate and be covered for insurance everybody must register. You must be fully registered in order to participate in training, and play any pre-season trial matches as well, therefore it is important to be registered prior to returning to rugby.

 

How do I register?

 

All registrations must be now done online using the Rugby XPLORER app which can be
downloaded on your phone from either the Apple Store or Google Store (Links found below).

If you are registering for the: u5-u7s, senior men's, or senior women's sides, then you must complete your full registration through Xplorer as above.

If you are registering for u8s-u18s we're currently having issues applying the discounts that we want to. THEREFORE, there are two options until 31st January 2024:

1. If you'd like to use your Active Kids voucher, you must pay directly via Xplorer. Therefore, you will need to pay the full amount via the app. If you do this, please message us your bank details following registration, and we will refund you the discount difference. We will run through bulk refunds every Friday until this is resolved.

2. If you are paying the full amount in cash, you can transfer to our bank account directly (below). Email us your payment confirmation from the email that you will be using to register, and we will send you a single ID code that will allow you to register via Xplorer with the registration costs brought to nil.
